Terri L. (Reuter) McGhghy, 46, of Cedar Bluffs died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015, at Fremont Health Medical Center in Fremont Nebraska.

Terri was born May 5, 1968, in Fremont Nebraska.

She grew up in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High School in 1986. She attended Bahner Beauty College in Fremont. She worked at Kmart in the shoe department and was a waitress at Kindler's Steakhouse and Liquor in Fremont. She lived in Lincoln, Oklahoma City until 1994 and returned to Fremont. She moved to Cedar Bluffs in 2014. Terri married Marcos Hernandez and later divorced.

Terri battled diabetes since 1977 and in 2012 had a pancreas transplant. Complications developed and the pancreas failed in 2014.

She was a member of F.O.E. 200 Auxiliary of Fremont and was vice president and past president of the F.O.E. 147 Auxiliary in Lincoln. She was chairman for a diabetes charity and member of DAVA in Lincoln. She enjoyed NASCAR, dancing, karaoke and bowling. She bowled on the Moser Memorial Chapel team for several years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by: daughter, Taylor (Hernandez) Hughes of Cedar Bluffs; mother, Beverley (Niles) Mielke of Fremont; father, Ronald (Marilyn) Reuter of Enid, Okla.; brothers, Steven (Alane) Reuter of Fremont, David (Shannon) Reuter of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Elvin "Gene" (Stacie) Reuter of Norfolk; granddaughters, Natalie and Layla Hernandez; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by son, Marc T. Hernandez; and grandparents, Elvin and Evelyn Niles; cousins, Robert D. Niles Jr. and Dr. Matthew Brester; and uncle, Everett Rageth.

The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Scott Jensen, chaplain at Fremont Health Medical Center, will officiate. Visitation with family receiving friends will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service time on Saturday.
