The Silvermoon Band

The Silvermoon Band is a dynamic five-piece musical group based in the Omaha-Lincoln area, co-founded in early 2019 by drummer Dave Smith from Arlington, Nebraska. Renowned for their electrifying performances at regional festivals such as the Arlington Summer Sizzle and John C. Fremont Days, the band captivates audiences with an eclectic repertoire that encompasses country, classic rock, southern rock, and rocking blues. The current lineup boasts a talented ensemble of seasoned local musicians, including Stan Schmedding on guitar from Walthill, Dave Smid on guitar from Lincoln, Eric Johnson on bass from Morse Bluff, and Erin Eairleywine-Ganzel on keyboards, flute, and lead vocals from Lincoln. Complemented by the expertise of sound engineer Jeff Nelson from Fremont, the SilverMoon Band delivers a rich, multi-instrumental sound while covering iconic artists like Fleetwood Mac, the Eagles, and Miranda Lambert.

Nick’s Street Eats & Catering Company

Nick’s Street Eats and Catering is a family-owned business in Fremont, Nebraska, founded by Jennifer Fisher and her husband, Terry Mora. Named after their son, Nick—who operates the eatery alongside his brother, Justin—the venture began in 2020 as a mobile hot dog cart. Fisher launched the business while recovering from back surgery, seeking a career path that was both physically manageable and community-oriented. After four years of serving the area as a mobile vendor, the business successfully transitioned to a permanent brick-and-mortar location at 1616 N. Bell Street on November 14, 2024.
