Nick’s Street Eats and Catering is a family-owned business in Fremont, Nebraska, founded by Jennifer Fisher and her husband, Terry Mora. Named after their son, Nick—who operates the eatery alongside his brother, Justin—the venture began in 2020 as a mobile hot dog cart. Fisher launched the business while recovering from back surgery, seeking a career path that was both physically manageable and community-oriented. After four years of serving the area as a mobile vendor, the business successfully transitioned to a permanent brick-and-mortar location at 1616 N. Bell Street on November 14, 2024.

The establishment is well-known for its lighthearted atmosphere and "community-first" mission, offering what they proudly call “simple dinner done right.” Their menu specializes in high-quality comfort foods, including all-beef hot dogs topped with regional flavors and loaded baked potatoes. In addition to their daily restaurant operations, Nick’s Street Eats and Catering has established a strong presence in the region through off-premise catering for corporate events and private parties.

In February 2026, the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated the restaurant’s growth and contribution to the local food scene with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony. Looking ahead,
