The Silvermoon Band is a dynamic five-piece musical group based in the Omaha-Lincoln area, co-founded in early 2019 by drummer Dave Smith from Arlington, Nebraska. Renowned for their electrifying performances at regional festivals such as the Arlington Summer Sizzle and John C. Fremont Days, the band captivates audiences with an eclectic repertoire that encompasses country, classic rock, southern rock, and rocking blues.
The current lineup boasts a talented ensemble of seasoned local musicians, including Stan Schmedding on guitar from Walthill, Dave Smid on guitar from Lincoln, Eric Johnson on bass from Morse Bluff, and Erin Eairleywine-Ganzel on keyboards, flute, and lead vocals from Lincoln. Complemented by the expertise of sound engineer Jeff Nelson from Fremont, the SilverMoon Band delivers a rich, multi-instrumental sound while covering iconic artists like Fleetwood Mac, the Eagles, and Miranda Lambert.
Excitingly, they will be headlining at the Fremont High School Class of ‘86 Reunion Saturday Night Funk Dance Event—on Saturday night, July 11th, 2026, from 8 PM to 11 PM at The Heights Venue, located at 3605 N Somers Avenue in Fremont, Nebraska, promising a memorable night of music and celebration for all attendees.
