The Silvermoon Band was established in 2005 by three veteran musicians—Dave Smid, Stan Schmedding, and Dave Smith—whose combined years of experience and enthusiasm for live performance laid a strong foundation for the group. For the past 21 years, they've remained true to that initial vision, fusing southern rock, country rock, and modern country into a versatile, crowd-pleasing sound.
Their current lineup, solidified eight years ago—includes the dynamic vocals and instrumental talents of Erin Eairleywine-Ganzel (Fremont), Eric Johnson (Morse Bluffs), and Jeff Nelson, skillfully managing their sound.
Together with the founding members; this team delivers tight performances with rich harmonies and the kind of stage chemistry that keeps audiences returning for more.
The Silvermoon Band perform at a variety of venues and events—from Firemen’s Balls and weddings to fundraisers, county fairs, ballrooms, and street dances. Whether it’s an intimate wedding reception or a large festival, they customize the set to suit the event and the crowd.
